I painted this series with feeling and freedom to represent the beauty of wildflowers as I see them. There was a creative and organic flow throughout the series that developed from canvas to canvas. Just like an individual flower each one is unique and found it’s own style from start to finish! I took a different approach from the outline and underpainting to the brushstrokes and the overall feeling of the piece as I wanted the series to have a natural development and individuality. As you can see, some are more realistic and moody, while others are funky and free.
It may be my most unique collection yet!
